Senior UI Designer

I collaborate with lead UX designer, design peers, user researchers and product management to produce product designs, interactive prototypes and final design deliverables for dev handoff. I adapted our dev hand off process for our patient-facing health service native mobile apps My KP Meds and My Doctor Online to meet our rapidly scaling design efforts to meet the changing demands of the COVID-19 pandemic. To support

our physicians, I redesigned UI for consultation network app Clinician Connect.
Working independently I developed and manage components, styles and UI pattern libraries for our team’s design systems following brand guidance and atomic system best practices.

Yahoo Small Business
January 2017 – December 2018

Senior UI Designer

Collaborated with VP of Design, product managers, dev teams and marketing to update the core product UX and marketing touchpoints to help small business owners start, build and grow their businesses using YSB’s B2B products. I provided concepts, art direction, feedback and produced final graphics in collaboration with ReadyState design agency for YSB’s corp site redesign. I updated YSB’s brand and created a YSB Design System for our expanding design team.

In an agile environment, we facilitated a rapid schedule for corporate rebrand and product redesign, creation of new digital product offerings and its marketing campaigns. I documented task flows & created interactive prototypes (Sketch and Invision) to define a vibrant but minimalist, human centered UI pattern library for our growing design team.
I also participated in ethnographic user research interviews and User Testing.com tests to validate product proposal and increase sign up conversions. To that end, I redesigned email templates (Act-On) and graphics for marketing campaigns, automated educational and transactional emails and our click rates increased approx min 2-40% overall. I also conceived and designed YSB’s most successful IRCE event's (Chicago, 2018) environmental design, tchotchkes, digital invitations and promo designs.

Designed UI for all Mojave security and MDM product (web & native mobile applications); conceived corporate rebranding strategy and produced all corporate collateral materials: corp site, marketing materials, digital and print ads, event signage, environmental graphics, branded document & presentation templates and swag.

Visual & UI Designer

As in-house graphic designer, I collaborated on all creative assignments with every team: marketing and business development to produce web content and design and code HTML marketing emails incorporating Google analytic data to drive increased revenue in new customer acquisition and conversion to paid subscriptions. As an intern, I worked closely with our design lead in corporate brand development, managing and creating all design assets: corporate identity, collateral, product marketing, presentation graphics, swag and event collateral. As a UI designer, I worked closely with our product management team to conceive all UI designs for web, Window / Mac software; native applications for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Winmo, tablet and Netbook.
